Physiotherapy

Physiotherapy is a healthcare profession associated with human function and movement. Physiotherapy uses various skills and approaches including hands-on treatments like joint and tissue mobilisation and helps individual to improve their health and physical wellbeing.

Learning Disability Physiotherapy

We can provide training to various service providers help train staff working in different settings such as supported, residential and nursing in the community

Sports Massage

Sports and deep tissue massage is a treatment discipline of using massage for the specific benefit to targeted area. It involves management and manipulation of the body’s soft tissues (muscles, tendons, ligaments and connective tissue).

Acupuncture

Acupuncture is an ancient form of treatment in China, part of Traditional Chinese Medicine first recorded date back as far as 500 BC. It has been accepted in to western medicine in late 1900’s. The medicine evolved on a belief that body contains channels, knows as meridians.

Pilates

Pilates has become more commonly used as a means to address spinal conditions. Clinical Pilates are often used by physiotherapists to improve core stability to reduce pain and enhance efficiency of movement.

Occupational Health

Work related injuries are becoming more and more common with variety of soft tissue and joint problems directly related to their roles. This may lead to stress due to periods of absence and affect your health and wellbeing.

Vestibular Physiotherapy

At S2 Physio, we offer comprehensive balance and vestibular assessments, for dizziness caused by problems in the inner ears.The vestibular system controls balance and eye movements. This system is made up of inner ear, the nervous system connecting inner ear to the brain and the brain itself. These work in conjunction with each other to maintain balance and visual focus.
